Wendy Taylor Carlisle lives and writes in the Arkansas Ozarks. She is the author of four books and five chapbooks and is the 2020 winner of the Phillip H. McMath Post-Publication Award for The Mercy of Traffic (Unlikely Books). Two of her books have been reprinted, Discount Fireworks (Doubleback books) and Reading Berryman to the Dog (Belle Point Press). Her chapbook length entry in Wild Muse: Ozarks Nature Poetry is out now from Cornerpost Press. Her new book, Hallelujah Shoes, was a finalist in the Concrete Wolf book contest.
