Patrick Barney's debut novel, Gusano, appeared in 2024 from Anxiety Press. He has also published fiction and poetry in Black Sheep, Aesterion, 100subtextsmagazine, Shadowbox Magazine, Phoebe Journal, Antipodes, Flights, and others. He has an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and an MA in Professional Writing from the University of Cincinnati. He lives with his partner and three kids in Cincinnati, Ohio. He supports Give Directly.
